Wendy Patrick, a long time KALS supporter and volunteer for her 1stplace prize in the Kamloops Arts Council show Art Exposed 2D category for her coloured pencil painting Story of Stone 2-The Great Wall of China. Wendy has taught her art to many KALS students and we hope to convince her to do so again[…..]
In September, Anne Neave, was honoured by the Council of Canadians for her community and environmental activism. Neave began getting active 17 years ago. Most of her activities began out of a committee from the Unitarian church. Her children were also involved at an early age and eventually received school scholarships and awards for community[…..]
