5 KALS BOARD MEMBERS WILL RETIRE IN SEPTEMBER …………AND YOUR HELP IS NEEDED
The KALS Board has 10 members and most have served you for 3 years or more. At least 5 people will be retiring at the next AGM and the Nominating Committee is searching for volunteers to take on leadership roles. Without leaders, the classes you enjoy could not take place. Can you take on some leadership responsibility or help recruit someone you believe could? Your help is needed. Each of the roles listed below require people who like working in teams, are comfortable using email, and enjoy organizing and planning. It has been suggested that for the 3 Board Committees we recruit co-chairs to lighten the load. The existing chairs will mentor new co-chairs.There are 408 people on our mailing list of which 265 are current members. We all want KALS to continue to exist in Kamloops and to ensure it does we need to volunteer our time and expertise to keep KALS thriving.
Please consider becoming a Board member andhelp us find you by contacting the KALS Nominating Committee at " target="_blank"> or phone Ellen Faraday at 250-372-8280.
